What an exciting time to be a Bobcat! This most certainly marks an unforgettable year for our school community as we celebrate receiving the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award! This incredible achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and spirit of our students, teachers, and staff who make our school such a special place to learn and grow. Together, we have created a community built on effective teaching and learning practices along with strong family and community partnerships. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this memorable honor possible.

The Blue Ribbon award honors schools for outstanding academic achievement and significantly closing the achievement gap. Nominees must be performing at the top 10% statewide and must be a Connecticut School of Distinction.

Above all, New Lebanon is one of only four schools across Connecticut who are being awarded 2026 Blue Ribbons and is the very first 'West Side' school to ever receive a Blue Ribbon.
